We went to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday, we order the Peking Duck we really enjoyed the presentation and attention to detail, we also ordered noodles, fried rice, vegetables; everything was fantastic! At the end they sang happy birthday both in English and Chinese and gave my son a present plus a complimentary ice cream. It was such a great experience and a beautiful memory for all of us. Thank you for the delicious food abd excellent service!!

Left to right: Chinese broccoli - IMO great addition to Chinese food to add in some greens. Cooked perfectly. Green curry chicken - better than I was preparing myself for but to be honest if it wasn’t for my family recommending that I wouldn’t get it again. Thai basil beef - constant in our order from Cynthia’s. The beef is tender and cut into good sized pieces. Maybe a bit too much onion for my personal taste. I would maybe add in more peppers if it were up to me to balance the dish out and make it perfect. BBQ pork fried rice - no notes, 10/10, exceptional. This is exactly how I like my fried rice. It had a bit of char on the bbq and rice itself and tastes so classic. Sweet and sour pork - as a family that are typically creatures of habit, it takes a loooot to convince my family to try new things or let me order something I want. I have ordered a few different things from the chicken section but find myself getting very frustrated that I can’t tell much from the description (lightly fried, stir fried, deep, dry, saucy, etc). I know in my head what I want and can point to it if I saw a picture, but that doesn’t translate well on a phone order. May I make a recommendation to Cynthia’s to include pictures of all dishes somewhere on the site (there is a tab but it is not all encompassing). The pork sauce came on the side which is not my personal preference and was just an OK dish. Call me basic but sometimes I just want something similar to what you get at the mall that is usually labelled something like “general tao”. The second picture is taken from another reviewers comment and is an unidentified dish. This is what I was going for and wish I ordered. Cynthia’s - if you can respond with the name of that dish, that would be helpful! Anyways I crave Cynthia’s whenever I am back in town, just make sure you check pictures and try to identify what you might like if trying something new.

This was truly an experience. I loved everything. I would could back for every meal if I could. The service was amazing. We came for mother's day. Without a reservation and we were able to get a table in less then 30 minutes. Then we were seated, everyone is wearing traditional Chinese clothing, it's gorgeous. We had a server named Stella. She was so helpful and kind. Very attentive and was also willing and able to help us with any questions we had. The drinks were delicious and the food was truly mind blowing! I cannot begin to express the flavor that all the food had. My compliments to the chef. This restaurant is completely underated and deserves 100000 stars. We ate family style and got a turntable. It was very nice. We also got dessert, it was nice and I highly recommend the deep fried creme brulee. The presentation is wonderful. Thank you Stella for the amazing service! I got wonton soup (number 19) 10/10 Sizzling Peking pork (number 62) 10/10 Sizzling black peper beef (number 55) 8/10 it was so tender just not my favorite Spicy Squid (number 86) 10/10 Beef flat noodles (number 115) 7/10 House special fried rice (number 102) 9/10

We went to this place for lunch and found the decor really admirable with an antique vibe. The staff are all attired in traditional costume. The place is clean and the table is formally set. We ordered the two course Peking Duck. They sounded the gong when the Peking duck came out in an antique looking cart. The server then starts carefully slicing the crispy skin. For our first course of the peking duck - the hoisin sauce is spread in a thin pancake then one adds the julienned spring onions and cucumber then the thinly slice crispy skin is added before rolling the pancake. Our choice for the second course was to have the shredded duck meat with fried rice. The Peking Duck was so mouth watering delicious. It has a savoury sweet flavour. It was a good size and enough for four people. We also ordered the sweet and sour boneless pork and mixed vegetables. All the food was flavourful and delicious. Customer service was excellent. Update July 2022: We arrived 5 minutes early at this place but seeing the sign that says open decided to go in. The restaurant do not have a record of our online reservation, the host/manager did not give us a warm greeting, was not welcoming and seems unprepared to see early customers like us and keeps repeating that the kitchen is not yet ready. This dampened our supposed to be a nice day out but fortunately things got better when we had Stella as our server. She was amazing and has a good sense of humour. It is a delight to have someone who enjoys what she is doing and gives positive energy. She has excellent people skills. Aside from our favourite Peking Duck, we also ordered Seafood Hot and Sour Soup, Pork and Vegetable Spring Rolls, Buddha Delight (Mixed Chinese Vegetables and Assorted Mushrooms) and Crispy O.K. Beef. As always food was excellent, so enjoyable and so tasteful.

From the moment we walked in I knew this was going to be an experience well worth the trip for my mother’s birthday. Pleasant staff well dressed for an authentic Chinese experience all before the food arrives. When it did each mouthful was worth it. Large portions for a dinner for two very tasty and perfect. Well done! We’ll be back.
